Last year, we had another excellent response to our annual Poetry Contest, with over eight hundred poems submitted. Fifty of those poems were selected for inclusion in Quiet Diamonds 2025, creating a truly excellent annual journal (available for order both via the mail and online at this site).
The First Prize of $700 and the Malovrh-Fenlon Poetry Prize went to Tanya Young of Osprey, FL for “Snatching the Sunset.” Second Prize ($500) went to “What Did I Forget?” by Carolyn Jabs of Santa Barbara, CA, and Third Prize ($300) was won by “Signatures” from Bill Griffin of Elkin, NC.
Our ninth annual Poetry Contest is now open for submissions with a deadline of April 30th. Information about submitting poems is available on this website.
