Joe Cheslock

Joe Cheslock is a lifetime resident of Northeast Ohio and is the author of three other books of poetry: 14 Lines, a book of Sonnets; if you follow a crooked river, poems of Cleveland and other sacred places; and all the stars that once were. He has also written his father’s biography, Coal Miner’s Son, and several short stories. Joe spent over forty years as an IT Professional before continuing his education at the University of Akron In poetry writing and fiction. His poems have appeared in Abbey, The Lucidity Journal, and other small publications and have won top honors at the Wayne College Regional Writing Awards in Orrville, Ohio. He also edited an autobiography, Keep Moving, by Martha Morris and a book of sermons by retired priest Dather Lou Papes. Joe loves reading and hiking, and he and his wife, Lynn, have traveled extensively across the U.S. and abroad. Thet are the parents of three and grandparents of six.
