James Scruton is the author of two full collections and two award-winning chapbooks. His work has appeared often in Poetry magazine, which awarded him its Frederick Bock Prize in 1996, and the Chicago Tribune, Poetry East, Poet Lore, North American Review, Southern Poetry Review, The Florida Review, Yankee, and dozens of other journals. He is currently the Mary B. Holmes Professor of Literature and Associate Academic Dean at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. Blind Season, 2018.
