Gary Boelhower lives in Duluth, Minnesota. He has published three poetry collections: Naming Rites (Holy Cow! Press); Marrow, Muscle, Flight (Wildwood River Press); and Sacred Times, Timeless Seasons (Hi-time Publishers). His awards include the Foley Prize from America magazine; the Midwest Book Award for Marrow, Muscle, Flight; Third Place and Honorable Mention in the 2019 Orchard Street Press Poetry Contest; and a Career Development grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. He was named Duluth Poet Laureate for 2018-20. His poetry appears in anthologies: Love Jets, Amethyst and Agate, The Heart of All That Is, The Cancer Poetry Project 2, Beloved on the earth, Migrations, County Lines, Quiet Diamonds 2020, and many journals and magazines. His non-fiction works include Choose Wisely: Practical Insights from Spiritual Traditions (Paulist Press, 2013) and Mountain 10: Climbing the Labyrinth Within (Mountain 10 Resources, 2013).
