Gary Boelhower lives in Duluth, Minnesota. He has published three poetry collections: Naming Rites (Holy Cow! Press); Marrow, Muscle, Flight (Wildwood River Press); and Sacred Times, Timeless Seasons (Hi-time Publishers). His awards include the Foley Prize from America magazine; the Midwest Book Award for Marrow, Muscle, Flight; Third Place and Honorable Mention in the 2019 Orchard Street Press Poetry Contest; and a Career Development grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. He was named Duluth Poet Laureate for 2018-20.
