Jennifer M. Phillips

Jennifer M. Phillips is an immigrant, gardener, grower of Bonsai, priest, and painter, and has been writing since she was seven. The product of a Wordsworthian childhood, she has since bounced between two countries and four states, but her spiritual sense and writing have always been rooted in northern seas and landscapes and their changeability. She has published poetry in over fifty journals, including Orchard Street’s Quiet Diamonds, and was recently a winner of the Princemere Prize for Poetry and a finalist in the International Lawrence Durrell Foundation’s White Mice Poetry Contest. Her first poetry chapbook was Sitting Safe In The Theatre of Electricity.
